They say it's due to high demand but that they can be followed on twitter or facebook. I can't imagine that pets would have to be transported much without their owners, unless there are bi-coastal custody battles! I was surprised to find out that it costs $100 per leg on most airlines to have more pet fly with you even if he/she is in a carrier bag under the seat in front of you.
